After going out of body (astral projection) Randall Lender suddenly found himself in such a paradox where surrealism meets dilemma. And regrettably for Lender this was the real quantum problem. Randall Lender found himself on an unexpected journey with twists and turns until he realizes that he must die to live for his return to his former body.

My Review: 

Spirit by Andrew Feder is an intriguing novel that focuses around astral projection and is unlike anything I've read before, it is very different. The plot is extremely unique as well as the characters- these are the book's two strongest aspects.  

Randall can't keep from speaking the truth about some major organizations- so they're all gunning for him. He believes you don't need to become apart of an organized religion to find God. There are some who love him and those that despise him...but none of this matters when he wakes up in the body of a man who has just murdered a woman. Now he must race the clock to find a way to return to his body before the one he possesses is executed.

The style of writing portrayed here is not my favorite, and although it starts off at a slow pace, there were enough little twists to keep me entertained. In short, I feel like this book needed a good editor...badly. But the concept was great. And before I forget- warning- this book has some...distasteful language littered throughout the pages... maybe offensive to some! I would recommend this book to those that are interested in an adventurous suspense novel- also being intrigued by astral projection helps. ;)
