My answer:  I can't say I have one particular favorite author. I'm going to give you a list instead... although I have to give a special shout out to a few that made me LOVE reading when I was younger- the authors are brilliant and relate so well with their young audience! Thank you, Lois Lowry, Paul Zindel and Stephen Chbosky for fueling my addiction to reading. Now, for the other authors that I adore: J.K. Rowling, Suzanne Collins, Patricia Briggs, J.R. Ward, Kim Harrison, Jeaniene Frost, Chuck Palahniuk, Larissa Ione... I'm sure there is more ;)

    Getting Personal: The Snowpocolypse -2010.

    The Snowpocolypse
So, this year the East Coast was lucky enough to encounter The Snowpocolypse. What is this, you ask? This is the biggest freaking snow storm we have had since 1996! This was actually two glorious snow storms. The first one unloaded about three feet of snow between Friday, February 5th and Saturday, February 6th. Then, like magic, the snow started kissing the earth again around 11AM on Tuesday, February 9th and finished with another 20 inches on the 10th. That is right, I called it GLORIOUS and even went as far as saying it KISSED the earth. Mostly just to drive a certain miss Belinda insane because she didn't have quite as much fun as I did ;]

So, all the pictures and videos I'm posting are of family and myself. See that picture up above? I'm stupidly jumping off the railing of my deck. My man says, 'Babe, make sure you land on your butt.' Well, duh, I say. Not 30 seconds later, I put my feet down to land. Oh, instinct, you FAIL me yet again. Whoops; I thought for about 2 minutes that I broke an ankle. Haha, I didn't, it didn't hurt after those 2 minutes were up.

I also wanted to share how lucky I am that it snowed in our area. Because if it never snowed, I would have NEVER met Spiderman. That's right, folks, I got to witness Spiderman shovel a porch. This is not something that happens everyday. No pictures were allowed so I had to sneak a tiny one. Apparently the snow had brought down the crime rate for those evenings- all the criminals being stuck indoors and all... Spiderman got bored.

Spiderman is not the only one who was bored while being stuck at home. Today we played outside in the snow for over 2 hours. I don't think I've played in the snow that long in foooorrrrrever. I know you're dying to check out some of the silliness. I even have videos of my baby (REX!) catching snowballs in his mouth. If you check out my YouTube page, you will find that my dog is obsessed with snowballs.

Now, no hate comments. My baby has to be tied up to a chain because if he isn't, he chases after cars... and you try holding him on a normal leash when he's chasing snowballs. Sorry, I got my fingers all mixed up in the Evidence:
And because Rex wasn't the only one having fun...

And now... A few pictures of Snowpocolypse for the road...

Some of us hated the snow, *cough* Belinda *cough*, some of us loved it (ME!)... But I hope that whatever the circumstance that everyone stayed safe and enjoyed what they could of being stuck in the house... even if they ran out of diapers, power and/or food. ;]

NOW.... Want to hear the other side of the story? Head on over to...

    Meme Monday [2]

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend... and I hope your week started off right (or at least better than mine did! Haha. Ugh, Monday mornings!!) Ok, well, it IS Monday and Monday brings one good thing- MEME!

Larissa over at Larissaslife.com made this Meme and because I love her and think she is brilliant, I'm doing all her Meme's every Monday.

This week's Meme Monday is Book Couples.

Who are your top five sexiest, hottest & most smoldering book couples? Let me tell you who and why!

Cat & Bones (The Night Huntress Series)
~Cat & Bones are amazing together- I totally feel like this is a real relationship. I can't help but get       completely worked up and excited over Bones and his delicious accent. -Oh, and I will just drool at the thought of him in that bondage club in the 3rd book. Yummy!

Zadist & Bella (Black Dagger Brotherhood)
~This is totally my favorite book in the series so far. Just something about how hardcore Zadist was and how he turned all good and mushy for Bella. I love it- who doesn't want a badass man turning soft for them? Not to mention how great he gets being an over protective daddy!

Eric Northman & Sookie Stackhouse (Southern Vampire Series)
~Ok, these two need to get together. Stay together. And let it be FOREVER. I'm sorry, Bill fans, but I love Eric Northman and I want these two to have a happily ever after! Eric is a badass but is still thoughtful, what more could you want in a man? (Other than a little mystery which Eric obviously gives us.)

Revhenge & Ehlena (Black Dagger Brotherhood)
~I love that Ehlena didn't fall right into the arms of Revhenge and that he had to really work for it. Geesh, I just love these two together. I don't even know what to say, Revhenge is so sexy. I love that he has all these businesses and that he is so intelligent. Smart and sexy? Swoonswoonswoon.

Anita & Nathaniel (Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter)
~I actually love Jason the most in these books. (I can't really explain why, I don't know. I'm *drawn* to him... haha!) Since Jason isn't really a boyfriend of Anita's and he is just a lover... I choose Nathaniel. I love that he has developed into this gorgeous man that can stand up for himself and that Anita helped him get to that point. It is so sexy when a couple helps each other grow. Anita and Nathaniel do that for each other... not to mention he is all about dominating and THAT is yummy.

Alright, I'm done throwing excitement in your face ;] Everyone better have a damn good week and do this Meme!!
