December was a fun month so I thought I would share some of it with you:
First up in my gift Dee Topa of
The Book Curmudgeon for the The Broke and the Bookish's Secret Santa exchange. She did a great job! I can't tell you how happy I am to have these books in my hot little hands. I tend to only read new releases or books in my actual possession and I've been wanting to read
In The Woods for YEARS! Thank you Dee!!
The other major thing that happened in my life is that I went to Cary Elwes' book signing!
The Princess Bride is probably my favorite movie of all time and I've always like Cary. When I found out he was coming the University Bookstore in Seattle (which is a 5 minute walk from my work), I knew I had to go. I admit I pretty nervous. Like, is he going to be awesome...or not so much. I don't generally like meeting celebrities because I prefer to keep them on the pedestal in my head. LOL. But there was nothing to fear. Cary was charming and genuine. He shared stories about filming
The Princess Bride which was a lot of fun to hear.

That's cool you got to meet Cary Elwes and he was really sweet. I haven't met that many "big" celebrities, so I would have been unsure/nervous too.

*swoons* Oh Cary Elwes!! My cousins just started loving The Princess Bride, so on the 6 hour drive up from Mexico yesterday, there were many name that character quotes from it haha
